Hometown Throw Blankets

Most of us are sentimental about the towns we were born and raised in.  They hold a special place in our hearts because of the memories of the people, places, and events that took place while we were growing up.  This is why I believe that hometown throw blankets make such wonderful gifts, and special keepsakes.

If you happen to belong to a local historical society, chamber of commerce, rotary club, women’s group, your church, or just about any organization out there then hometown throws will make an amazing fundraising product for you!

Using say, anywhere from 8 to 12 pictures of historical buildings and other points of interest you can create a design that will capture the true essence of your town, and bring a smile to both young and old alike!  Anyone one would be proud to own one of these priceless heirloom quality blankets!

They can be designed either vertically or horizontally depending on the layout, and what works best for you.  We can create a full-color tapestry throw or a 2-color version depending on your budget and taste.  Just imagine seeing your hometown come to life on a gorgeous throw blanket!  Your school, your church, an old courthouse, or maybe a special gazebo can be featured in the center of the blanket with the name of your town proudly shown at the top.   Lastly, we will finish it off with a beautiful old-fashioned border as a perfect frame for your masterpiece!

Just picture your hometown blankets selling like hotcakes at your next fall craft show, or the Christmas bazaar!  Everyone will want to have their very own blanket and many more to pass on to their children and grandchildren!
